The Story Meet the owner, Will Stone, and get some history of the land.
Shooting Great action of pheasants flying.

It is not how much ground you hunt but how you hunt it.

Pheasant hunting memories are waiting to be made in South Dakota on over 800 acres of prime grassland, shelter belts, sweet clover and wetlands. South Dakota Pheasant Hunts is the perfect place for your pheasant hunting adventure. View our gallery of beautiful pictures, and then compare our rates and you will be certain a South Dakota pheasant hunt is right for you. Our goals over the years have and continues to be, offering a natural bird hunting experience at a reasonable fee. Managing and maintaining our habitat continues to be a priority. As we enter our 24th year as South Dakota Pheasant Hunts, we will be turning pasture land into pheasant habitat and adding  more food plots. We have tried to remain consistent over the years and made changes only when necessary and beneficial for our operation.

The winter of 2007-08 proved to be another winter without much snow fall. Although  temps colder than average, like we had this winter do not adversely affect survival of pheasants as the food plots and sloughs provide them with plenty of food and cover.

Rates include hunting fees, game cleaning fees, lodging, buffet breakfast and taxes and will remain the same as last year.  Licenses are not included due to the four levels of licenses available. You may purchase the license you want when you arrive or you can purchase it on line at www.sdgfp.info.com .

We look forward to seeing many of our old friends this fall and look forward to making many new friends this fall. Dates are filling in fast.. We encourage you to book early to secure the dates that work out for your group.

We want to thank you for your past patronage and look forward to being of service to you again. We continue to be one of the best values in the state of South Dakota.

We will be turning pasture land into more pheasant habitat and planting more food plots this year. Last fall we put a dam across a waterway to make a large wetland area and put in several nesting islands for geese.  We are coordinating restorations of some wet lands  with fish and wildlife service and filling in open drainage ditches that were a hazard. Hedge rows to be planted next  year are in the planning stage.
